Last month we had our annual Branch Conference, where all of our staff come in from villages and other remote sites where they are working in translation, literacy, linguistics, etc.
It is a great time of fellowship, and we also take care of any business that needs to be done and have our Spiritual Emphasis Week, where we worship and learn together. This year we had a speaker from the US who spoke to us about Christian contentment, based on The Rare Jewel of Christian Contentment, a book by Jeremiah Burroughs in the 17th Century.
My department was responsible for coordinating much of the activities, so I was quite busy, but what a blessing to see everyone together. Now we are all back to our ministries, spread across Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, until this time next year.
