Labour Day in Cameroon

See the poor Director at the right that had to wear a suit…:(

Cameroonians celebrated their 131st Labour Day Holiday Monday, and as a Director I had the opportunity to go downtown, sit in the stands, and listen to speeches before workers from major companies, organizations, and schools marched past, each with matching shirts for their organization. I don’t know how many marched, but they walked by for more than 3 hours.

More than 60 of our Cameroonian employees marched by in matching shirts and hats, looking great! That was followed by a shared feast back at our office compound. We are blessed to have so many wonderful Cameroonian employees that assist us in our mission to provide translation, literacy, and language development for the more than 250 languages of Cameroon.
