Wycliffe Global Alliance recently published updated statistics for 2016. Over four million more people now have access to God’s Word in their language through the translations completed in the last year!

God’s Word is now available in 3223 languages (note however that “some scripture” may be just a small portion of the Bible). An ever-increasing number of Scripture products are now in digital formats: text, audio, and video. These are often available on websites, social media, or through a variety of phone apps. A few partner organizations providing Scripture access:

• YouVersion (a mobile phone app), 1000+ languages
• Faith Comes by Hearing, 1000+ languages
• The JESUS film, available in over 1460 languages
