New Alphabet Chart

My wife Jann and I have both been trained in applied linguistics, but she is by far the more talented. Before we went on furlough last year, Jann was working with the translation team for the Iyassa language of Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, and we just got a copy of their new alphabet chart (see below)!

Many of the languages we are working with here have never been written, so we need to work with the community to develop an orthography (alphabet) and to design a literacy program, as well as doing translation. It is great to occasionally see the fruit of our efforts!
