You may have noticed that we haven’t been too communicative since returning to Cameroon in July this year. We had a pretty rough start to this tour. In our first week back, before we even got moved in to our house (or had internet or phone service), I was hospitalized for intestinal issues, then had to be airlifted to a mission hospital in the NorthWest. After that, Caleb got malaria, and Joshua arrived with an infected foot swollen to twice its normal size.
The cute little poisonous viper in the photo was found was found outside my hospital room. Fortunately he was dead before he got too close to me…:)
You will be glad to hear that we all are doing well now, are back to work and soccer, and school has started. Greetings from us, with the hope that your fall was maybe not as exciting as ours.
