There are a lot of things we aren’t able to do over here that I did growing up, like being in the Cub Scouts. Long ago, however, one of the missionaries here made a pinewood derby track and that has become a tradition every year around this time. The boys and I are able to use the woodworking machines in the ‘CAM Shop’ (our maintenance shop) to work on our vehicles with all our friends (there was 50 cars entered this year)!
Our Director of Finance and Administration runs everything with aplomb (thanks, David). I am now an experienced Gate Official (starter). This year Calebs entry, a pickup named The Shiny High-Lux did quite well in the races and won the award for the Most Realistic ride.
